Emigration

A month back, a surprise intervention took place. Eight Nobel Prize winners, including Andre Geim, made public their stand on the supposed immigration cap to be put into place by the British Parliament. They warned of Britain losing its edge in cutting edge research and Britain losing it place as a multicultural environment which fosters innovation. Why does it bother an ordinary Indian blogger?

When those people are protecting their people, their jobs, India still sends a large chuck of her children abroad who bring fortune (isn’t it?) to the place they migrate to. This in spite of the vast resource dearth needed to be filled in our country. May be it is the reason we are such a Great Country.
